Ist Day in Kona & Coffee Festival

Today was our first full day in Kona. We went to the yearly coffee festival which Marlys & Cathy went to last year. Crazy to be back in just under a year. We got to make woven fish out of coconut palm, see the beach and go to the farmers market. We had a mission builder orientation meeting at 4pm, and then we went to supper and had a great meal of mahimahi fish. Yum. The guys went down and played beach volleyball with some of the other volunteers and the gals walked down to the stores by the water. Its been a nice first day. Stay tuned for more pictures.

Hi Everyone,
I am loving the posts so far...so nice to come home and see some fun pictures. It looks like you've had a different experience than me! But it makes me quite lonely too, I wish so much I could be with you all (and I think Dad does too!) Oh well..the month will go fast.Urban Hike was okayMy week And now coming back to school normal life kicks in again and you realize all the responsibilities and expectations are still there! Kind of irritating...but I guess this is a comment not a message, haha oh well! Talk to you more soon!! Keep having fun for me okay...I am going to have a busy week I feel.

Looks like you are all having fun.
Quite a relaxing Sunday today. Soup and Sandwich day at Church today.
Kara and Stacey were here this afternoon doing laundry and stayed for supper. Amazing Race was in Kazakhstan tonight. Didn't see Laverne though. Great pictures!
Love, Len

Yay for Kona coffee.
We often fly through the San Fransisco airport on our way out, and I can't help but sing the Full House intro song every time. Good pictures!
